Why this exists

Finding accredited construction training in the UK is harder than it should be. We built NTI because the information exists. It is just buried.

The problem

A construction worker in the UK looking for a CPCS renewal, an SMSTS course, or a First Aid qualification has no single place to search. Awarding body websites are separate silos. Search engines surface paid ads before real results. The worker ends up phoning around, asking colleagues, or picking whichever centre their employer has always used.

That is not a market. That is a queue. Workers overpay because they cannot compare. Good training centres lose business because they are invisible. Bad ones survive because the alternatives are hard to find.

What we did

We compiled every publicly listed accredited training centre in the UK from CITB, CPCS, and the BMC scheme. We geocoded them so you can search by postcode. We built a free, open directory where the nearest centre to you shows up first.

There is no paid placement. Position in results is determined by distance from your postcode. Nothing else. We do not take commission, sell leads, or charge centres to be listed.

What we believe

A worker looking for training should be able to find every accredited centre near them in under ten seconds. The information is public. It should be searchable.

We are not trying to disrupt construction training. We are trying to organise what is already there. The data is public. The centres are accredited. The workers need to find them. That is the entire product.

What comes next

Right now, NTI is a directory. We list centres. We do not rate them. We do not endorse them.

Over time, we plan to attend courses ourselves and publish unsponsored, first-hand feedback. Not star ratings. Not affiliate reviews. Actual accounts of what the course was like, how the instructors taught, and whether the facilities matched the website. That takes time, and we will only publish what we have experienced directly.
